Everything You Need To Know About Steeping Vape Juice

There are thousands of vape juice options on the market, but unfortunately, they aren’t all made equally. Juice companies that take pride in their juices are able to create smooth flavours that are consistent and maintain the flavours that the manufacturer intended. Sometimes though, vape juices are much harsher than expected and may even have a less than desirable alcohol flavoured taste. While sometimes this may be due just a terrible flavour blend, other times it can be something more manufacturer based - it may be a result of a lack of steeping by the manufacturer. Luckily, if your manufacturer didn’t pre-steep your vape juice, it’s really not too difficult to do it yourself, at home! In this post, we will examine all the steps to steeping vape juice the right way so that you can get the full flavour profile of every juice you vape!

What Is Steeping Vape Juice, Exactly?

By definition, steeping means to soak something in water

  4. Nicotine Is No Worse than Your Double Latte

Nicotine Is No Worse than Your Double Latte

Urging tobacco smokers to switch to safer forms of nicotine, the UK’s Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) has claimed that nicotine is ‘no more harmful to health than caffeine’.

Alarmingly, the organisation found that nine out of ten people still believe that nicotine by itself is harmful.

In reality, RSPH claims, the chemical is no worse than the caffeine found in you morning cup of Joe.

Nicotine is harmful in tobacco cigarettes largely because it is combined with other dangerous ingredients including tar, arsenic and carbon monoxide. In these circumstances, the addictive chemical is dangerous because it keeps smokers hooked on dangerous tobacco cigarettes.

Almost half a million Americans die from tobacco cigarettes each year and the Centres

    9 Vaping Myths Debunked

Everyone seems to have opinions about vaping these days. One person could say vaping changed their life, while another could believe using an e-cigarette is just as bad as smoking.

Then there are people who believe scaremongering stories about vaping - vape pens will explode in your pocket, e-liquid makes you fat, you’re filling your lungs with water every time you inhale….but how many of these statements are true?

Here are 9 of the most popular vaping myths - debunked.

“Vaping dessert e-liquid will make me fat”

Some people may look at strawberry shortcake and cherry pie vape juice, then get into a panic. “I’m basically inhaling dessert, I’m going to gain weight”.

Believe it or not, dessert-flavoured e-liquids aren’t made by putting food in a blender then shoving it in a bottle. When you vape, you’re taking in a mixture of nicotine, vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol. More

  7. Is Second Hand Vaping Safe?

    Is Second Hand Vaping Safe?

Smoking kills. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention claims that smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States, accounting for one in every five deaths.

The deadly habit has prompted dozens of state and city-wide smoking bans indoors in workplaces, bars, restaurants and other public places over the last two-and-a-half decades.

As well as making smoking a less attractive proposition, these bans also protect non-smoking bystanders.

Just as drink-drive laws protect innocent road users from dangerous dunk drivers, smoking bans protect other people in the vicinity of a smoker from inhaling their harmful fumes.

After all, the person sat across from a smoker in a bar or restaurant hasn’t personally assumed any risks - so why should they be exposed to risk by another person?

Vape Juice Nicotine Levels - Which is Best For You?

For new vape users, vaping nicotine levels can be confusing. After finally deciding on a great vape juice that seems like it fits your flavour profile, now you have to decide what nicotine level you will vape at. Although smokers rarely ever know the nicotine levels in cigarettes, when it comes to vaping, nic levels are important. If you are wondering “what strength of vape juice should I use” or “how much nicotine should I vape”, then the following post is for you! We will explore the most available vape juice nicotine options to help you decide which level is best for you!

How much nicotine is in a cigarette?

Have you ditched tobacco for an electronic alternative? Not sure what nicotine level you need in your vape juice?

If the answer is yes to both of these questions then this guide is for you.

Choosing e-juice is confusing, especially if it is your first vape juice.

Not only do you have to worry about the hundreds of vape juice flavours on offer and the PG/VG ratio, but you also have to choose your nicotine strength.

Expressed as milligrams per millilitre (mg/ml), getting the right nicotine strength is very important for new vapers.

One of the main reasons people stop vaping and go back to tobacco cigarettes is because they get nicotine strength wrong.

If the nicotine strength is too low, vaping can feel hollow and unsatisfying.

And if the nicotine strength is more than you are used to, then vaping can feel harsh and intense and might actually make you more addicted to nicotine,

  11. All about Throat Hit!

    All about Throat Hit!

    What is Throat Hit?

You know it when you feel it! Throat hit is the sensation in the throat caused by nicotine as it's inhaled. It ranges from a smooth satisfying catch as the vapour travels down the throat to an intolerable harshness. Smokers who've tried to inhale a cigar will know the sensation at its worst. Vapers seek a throat hit that suits them. For some it's practically non-existent, for others it's very pronounced. It's very much a personal preference.

How do I get less throat hit?

You have two options. One, you use a lower nicotine concentration vape juice. If you do this, you may wish to use a higher powered device so that you're still getting similar quantities of nicotine overall (see power and nicotine explained). The sensation will be much less pronounced. The other option is to use an eliquid with a higher PH. The flavourings added to the liquid will change the overall PH - a high PH liquid is what you're after, so you
