RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K Review

The RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K arrived when disposable vapes were in an arms race for more power, larger screens and increasingly elaborate controls. The earlier RIFBAR Turbo-X 25K was already an impressive model, but the MIXPRO 40K takes the concept much further with a triple mesh coil, approximately 40,000 puffs, adjustable airflow and separate controls for flavor and output.

The big story is RIFBAR MIXPRO Flavor Control. Rather than simply adding another generic Turbo or Pulse Mode, the MIXPRO lineup includes Ice Control and Sweetness Control flavors. RIFBAR MIXPRO Nic Control

The RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K also offers a setting called Nic Control, but the name requires some explanation. There is no secondary tank filled with stronger nicotine e-liquid, and changing this setting does not change the 50mg nicotine concentration of the liquid.

Instead, Nic Control changes the device's output and therefore the amount of vapor generated per puff. In practical terms, it is roughly analogous to having four power modes.

That makes "Nic Boost" feel a bit like a reconceptualized Turbo or Pulse Mode. Higher output generates a larger volume of vapor, but the underlying nicotine strength of the e-liquid remains unchanged.

Triple Mesh Coil

The MIXPRO is not a button-free disposable, and with this many adjustable features it really could not be. Its controls are clearly marked and work in conjunction with the full-color display.

The screen uses separate four-segment indicators for Flavor Control and Nic Control. This gives each system four adjustment levels in 25-percent increments.

The Nic Control button also functions as a lock when clicked five times. USB Type-C charging is positioned directly beneath the controls.

The mighty RIFBAR MIXPRO has a full-color display that does more than provide decoration. It tracks the selected Flavor Control and Nic Control levels while also providing real-time battery and estimated e-liquid information.

The graphics are certainly not subdued. The MIXPRO uses bright colors and visual indicators to distinguish its different settings. Considering the number of adjustments available, the display earns its keep by making the interface easier to understand at a glance.

Adjustable Airflow Control

The airflow control is right where it belongs on the base of the disposable vape. More importantly, it operates independently from the Nic Control and Flavor Control settings.

This adds another variable to an already highly customizable device. Adult users can adjust the airflow separately rather than having the draw automatically tied to whichever output or flavor setting is selected.

RIFBAR MIXPRO Design and Ergonomics

The RIFBAR MIXPRO is a bit of a beast. With a large reservoir, triple mesh coil, big screen and multiple control systems, it looks more like a compact vape mod than the simple disposable vape pens of a few years ago.

The colors are bright and it is not the most subdued-looking vape ever. But the ergonomics and interface are incredibly slick. The draw is quick, and the customizable features are intuitive to navigate despite how much functionality has been packed into a single device.

There is a lot going on here, and the physical size reflects it.

Final Thoughts on the RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K

The initial impression of the RIFBAR MIXPRO remains outstanding. It provides a robust hit, impressive flavor and an extremely effective four-level flavor control system.

Nic Control still feels a bit gimmicky as a name because in practice it behaves an awful lot like a multi-level Turbo Mode. But maybe a reminder that a larger hit at higher output delivers more vapor is not the worst thing in the world with a 50mg nicotine salt disposable.

The Flavor Control system is the feature that really separates the RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K. Ice Control and Sweetness Control actually modify part of the flavor profile, while the triple mesh coil, adjustable airflow and output controls provide additional ways to fine-tune the experience.

Sour Apple Ice remains a standout, while Blackberry B-Pop and White Gummy give the Sweet lineup plenty of personality. The expanded lineup now offers considerably more choices than when the MIXPRO first arrived.

For adult vapor consumers looking for a high-capacity disposable vape with more control than the usual Normal-versus-Boost formula, the RIFBAR MIXPRO 40K remains one of the more interesting approaches to customization.
