Attractive, powerful, and long-lasting, the Rifbar Turbo-X 25K was benchmarked to match and outperform the industry leading Geek Bar Pulse, Pulse X, and the two headed dragon of the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo and Lost Mary MO20000 Pro.

The Rifbar Mixpro 40K is the newest member of the Rifbar vape collection. It is designed to provide more performance, flavor, vapor, and a superior level of customizability. 

 

Rifbar Mixpro 40K Pros and Cons

Pros: You can really customize the vaping experience with the Flavor/Sweetness Boost controls. Impressive flavor from start to finish with a high puff count and easily read screen.

Cons: What is the difference between Nic Boost and a Pulse Mode or Turbo Mode? A very substantial device for a single use. Overpowered for a 50mg nicotine strength disposable.

 

Rifbar Mixpro Features

Beneath the impressive exterior, which looks like and is not all that much smaller than a vape mod from a few years back, is a lot of firepower. At the heart of the system is a system that allows for a "Flavor Control", and in place of boost, pulse or turbo mode describes the wall of vapor it can generate as "Nic Boost". The flavor boost is more tangible, as it pumps in flavor from a second tank to augment the vapor. All of this is tracked on an impressive LED screen.

Flavor Control Vapes

The next generation disposable vapes are offering flavor control. This usually takes the form of adding additional iciness to a vape. The Fasta Burrst 35000 is ultimate incarnation of this design, with a pair of coils and a pair of tanks. The Off Stamp X-Cube, Pillow Talk, Orion Bar 50K and several other disposables offer some version of this technology.

 

Rifbar Mixpro Flavor Control

The Rifbar Mix Pro 40K is available in two series of flavors. There are flavors with Ice Control where an Ice Boost is added with the push of a button. There are also flavors with sweetness boost. This is accomplished using a triple mesh coil, which allows for more firing modes than the usual dual mesh coil. The Rifbar Mix Pro has a pair of tanks, the smaller of which contains the flavor boosting e-liquids.

Nic Control

 

The Rifbar Mixpro 40K also offers a nic control setting. It is worth noting that this appears to be a reconceptualization of boost mode. There is no secondary tank with even more nicotine. This disposable vape has a standard strength of 50mg. Nic boost refers to the greater vapor density and vapor volume created in the higher wattage mode. While this increase in output is in fact a nic boost, as it would be in Pulse Mode for a Geek Bar, it is not drawing from a discrete source.

One downside to a Nic Boost feature is it leans in a pretty specific direction. For adults seeking lower nicotine disposable vapes, it seems unlikely that the Rifbar Mix Pro 40K will be an option any time soon. Fortunately, the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo are available in a lower 20mg strength, has a similar e-liquid capacity, and dual modes that rival the vapor production and flavor of this triple coil juggernaut.

Triple Mesh Coils

Dual mesh coils and a pair of vaping modes is pretty much standard fare now in a disposable. The Rifbar Mixpro 40K uses a triple mesh coil, which allows more surface area and the ability to offer flavor control. It is a pretty seamless process. Naturally, this is not going to be a button free device as it has nic control and flavor control options.

Button Control Interface

There pair of buttons mounted on the Rifbar Mix Pro are clearly marked. The top half is a graphic that corresponds with the screen’s depiction of flavor control i.e., either a blue ice cube for an Ice Control flavor or a pink ice cube on a Sweetness Control Flavor. The screen has a pair of corresponding bars with four segments. The colored bar on the right is for the flavor control function and the brighter bar on the left is for nic control.

The Nic Control button can also serve as a child lock when clicked five times. With a total of four nic control and four flavor control modes, you can really play around with the vaping experience here. In practical terms, the Nic Control feature is roughly akin having four power modes. The type-C USB charger dock is mounted directly below the button.

 

Full Color Display

Apart from the colored bars, there is a full color LED display on the mighty Rifbar Mixpro. It has graphics that represent the nic control and flavor control setting. It also provides real-time monitoring of battery life and a solid estimate of e-liquid levels as well. The graphics are probably a bit borderline for the current environment. The classic e-juice stopper bottle to represent nicotine might be considered a throwback but the ice cube/pink cube to show flavor boost mode is a whole mood. As one might expect when the bar representation has four segments, the flavor boost and nic boost are adjusted in 25% increments. The renderings of these images are saturated in pastel colors with plenty of artistic license taken.

Adjustable Airflow Control

The airflow control is right where it belongs and works well. On the base of the disposable vape, it operates independently from the Nic Boost and Flavor Boost Functions.

Overall Rifbar Mixpro Appearance and Ergonomics

The Rifbar Mixpro is a bit of a beast with so much power and a big screen. Disposable vapes are beginning to look a bit like vape mods and this side mounted buttons adds to the theme. The colors are certainly bright, and it is not the most subdued looking vape ever. But the ergonomics and interface are incredibly slick. The draw is quick. It is intuitive to navigate the customizable features. Overall, this much size is required because there is a lot going on. Without a 900mAh battery, it wouldn't have the all-day vape longevity needed with this much power on tap.

Final Thoughts

We have not had a chance to zero out this new device, as it is quite long lasting, but the initial impression is outstanding. It provides a robust hit, great flavor, and extremely effective 4-level flavor control. Nic Boost feels a bit gimmicky, as it seems awfully like Turbo Mode. Maybe a reminder that larger hits at higher wattage equal more nicotine consumed isn't the worst thing in the world with a very smooth and tasty nic salt vape.

This is an easy disposable vape to recommend. It does everything and has something for every adult vaper. Sour Apple Ice is a monstrously good flavor, while the tangy and sweet Blackberry B-Pop and White Gummy have some of Geek Bar's great flavors right in the crosshairs.
