At first blush, the RYL Classic 35K by RAZ appears to be the personification of the Pink Tax. Here is a disposable that looks an awful lot like the time-tested RAZ TN9000, down to the 0.96" HD Display. Only it is touted as a luxury item. Complete with a classic chain lanyard that looks like it belongs on a handbag and a surprisingly sleek leather grip, the purpose of this powered by RAZ vape at first seems to be a mere marketing exercise.

Filled with premium e-liquid, the RYL Classic 35K disposable does not overwhelm on the spec sheet or offer any of the powerful features found in other disposable vapes such as Ice Control and multiple vape modes.

 

RAZ RYL Classic 35K Features

Effortless and timeless are the watchwords with the RYL Classic 35K. Look past the runway fashion plates in their launch video, all clearly adults to appease the FDA, and you will find Classic is not just marketing jargon.

The RYL Classic 35K is a perfected version of the popular RAZ TN9000. The airflow switch is nice and screen is nicely lit and legible, but this is hardly a high-performance disposable when compared to a Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo- let alone the adjustable wattage Lost Mary MO20000 Pro or its cousin the RAZ LTX 25K. 

Instead, the RYL Classic 35K is designed to deliver crystal clear flavor and satisfaction, 35K puffs if the manufacturer is to be believed. Fast charging will keep it in the game until the e-liquid levels are depleted.

Vaping the RYL Classic 35K

But when it is time to vape, this RAZ RYL delivers perfectly and reminds the user of just how sound of a disposable vapes the original RAZ TN9000 was. Better still, this version isn't just a clone but features a greater prefilled capacity and a higher puff count. Whether the RAZ RYL Classic 35K is a luxury disposable vape is in the eye of the behold but it is a refreshing change gaudier devices with an outsized and overly bright display screen.

35K puffs seems optimistic but there are no complaints regarding the longevity or the draw, which in any event can be adjusted. The flavor profiles are precise, and precision crafted. It is a one-time use device, meaning you will end up with a fair number of luxury disposable vape lanyard chains if you are a habitual buyer.

Sour Apple Ice, ostensibly inspired by both Granny Smith and sour green apple hard confections, is a proven vape flavor. Lots of cool ice help smooth out the mouth puckering delicious tartness of the underlying green apple rancher flavor

Miami Mint

Mint nic salt, disposable and pod vapes have been wildly popular for a decade. Miami Mint burst on the scene right when it looked like every variant had been attempted. It isn't as sour as a lemon ice flavor, with a sweeter citrus notes more akin to lime and awash in a sweet mint cloud. 

 

Final Thoughts

Initially, the author was quite skeptical of a vape that seemed to have sought inspiration from a fake Gucci bag from Canal Street. But do not dismiss the RYL Classic 35K as a RAZ TN9000 with the pink tax applied. It may share hardware with its stablemate, but that hardware is reliable and delivers an outstanding vaping experience.

A few of the models are quite attractive. Watermelon Ice looks like it was inspired by the inside of a Corinthian Leather 1970s Chrysler Cordoba for example.

That may not have been the intended effect, as this is a device that is marketed to adult women, but it certainly does look cool.

The HD display, nicotine strength, and powered by RAZ coil combine to maximize a group of very delicious flavors. Whether the prefilled capacity is in fact sufficient to churn out 35K puffs, it will outlast a RAZ TN9000 and much more purposeful than the LTX 25K.

The critique as always on disposables is why they do not all offer a lower nicotine strength. In this case, there is no battery draining and cloud chucking boost mode, so the oversight is not as glaring. It would be nice to see a detachable battery component though, as it seems wasteful for all this glitzy and eleganza to be pitched in the trash after a single use.

If you are an adult vapor consumer, there is nothing not to recommend here. But the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo with 20mg nicotine strength flavors has more power, two nic strengths and actually holds more e-liquid inside. 

The Off Stamp X-Cube with its reusable hardware continue to offer some real advantages that the RYL Classic simply cannot match.

But stride for stride, the flavors here match up favorably with anything on the market and you will not be disappointed by the ergonomics of the sleek leather grip and superior vaping experience delivered in earnest by a powered by RAZ coil.
