Orion Bar 50K Cons: The Boosted Mode does add more icy notes. The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K is listed as a 50mg nicotine strength disposable and the nic control switch looks an awful lot like the classic Orion Bar airflow control. Such a mighty screen for a one-time use device. 

Orion Bar 50K Key Features

The Orion Bar 10000 remains competitive with its massive 20ml capacity but even that is dwarfed by the 28ml of e-liquid held in the Orion Bar 50K. Whether this boost in e-liquid capacity really equals 50000 puffs is debatable. But there is no missing the fact that nearly the equivalent of a bottle of nic salts is contained within the Orion Bar 50K. This is a disposable vape designed for extended use. It also claims to be an ice and nic control vape, with the convenience that these key features provide.

Ice Control

There are actual flavor control disposable vapes on the market. The Fasta Burrst 35000 has a second tank, and you can push a button to dump in ice, sour or sweet flavor depending on the model. This set up requires two coils. The Sweet Collection Disposables for the Off Stamp X-Cube feature dual tanks and a single coil. The Lost Orion Bar 50K also favors this simpler solution. Ice Control essentially functions in the same manner as a Boost/Pulse/Turbo Mode where one half of the coil is fired at a time. On the higher ice setting, the coil that abuts e-liquid with a higher percent of cooling agent is vaporized.

Nic Control

Every vape, even those prefilled with nic salts, offers one form of nic control. A smaller puff means less nicotine inhaled. But this is quite a bit different than claiming an ability to manipulate nicotine strengths on the fly. No firm numbers are attached to the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K's nic control, unlike say the Lost Mary MT15000 Turbo 20mg which clearly advertises that the e-liquid inside is less than half as potent.

It must be noted that every puff from the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K is drawing from the same 28ml tank of 50mg strength e-liquid. That the Nic Control looks an awful lot like the trademark Orion Bar airflow control found on both the Orion Bar 7500 and OB10000 did not escape the author's notice.

To summarize: the lower nic setting corresponds with less airflow. Increase the airflow through the device and the freer breathing Orion Bar 50K's screen will show it is in a higher Nic Mode. Whether this is a gimmick or a public service to remind you that drawing out more vapor means more nicotine is being consumed is up to you.

360 Infinite Galaxy Screen

Ever since the mighty Geek Bar Pulse hit the scene, the vaping industry has been eager to embrace Space Race style imagery that at times seems a half century out of date. Whether it looks cool or not, elaborate screens feel a bit wasteful on a one-time use device. Of course, this particularly disposable does hold 28ml of e-liquid so it isn't quite as wasteful as one with half the capacity.

What does this screen show the user? There is real time battery updates and a Nic Control indicator light. There is as an e-liquid display. The planetarium style imagery is attractive. There is an astral body animation that spins while vaping.

One of the longest lasting disposable vapes yet, the vaping experience provided by the Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K is amazing. The flavor density is outstanding in both modes. The ultra flashy screen is a bit much though. It would be nice if more disposables embraced the Off Stamp approach so that the bigger battery and screen did not end up in the landfill after use.

The Lost Vape Orion Bar 50K disposable is clearly marked as a 50mg nicotine strength disposable, meaning that nic control is a bit more of a gimmick than the ice control half of the equation. There is much to recommend here. The most popular flavors with adults in a disposable vape that lasts for an exceedingly long period of time. The Orion Bar 50K disposable delivers everything an adult vaper could possibly need; the issue is if the flashy screen is actually demand driven or just an effort to stick out in a crowded market.

Our verdict is that this is an easy vape to recommend for daily usage, but an Off Stamp X-Cube delivers more variety and a ton of puffs without the same level of waste.
