The Geekvape Collection offers a diverse collection of pod kits and mods designed to cater to vapers of all experience levels. Their range includes compact and portable pod systems, full send vape mods, and pod mods that split the difference.
Geek Vape
Geekvape already has the Wenax Q, Aegis Hero Q, and Sonder Q for nic salt users. They also have the U-series catering to a similar demographic. Q and U series vapes are great for disposable vape users.

For those looking for optimal cloud production, the redoubtable Geekvape L200 Aegis Legend 2 remains a standard bearer. A small step in power down from the Zeus coils that are compatible with the Legend 2 are the older B-series or Boost Coils found in the Aegis Boost.
Leaving no stone unturned, Geekvape has launched a pair of attractive vapes. The Geekvape Digi Max and Geekvape Digi Pro use a new J-Pod with integrated coil or the JR-pod which uses J-coils that can be swapped in and out. At first glance, the Digi Max and Digi Boost look pretty darn similar not only to each other but to previous offerings like the Aegis Boost. But looks can be deceiving.
Geek Vape Digi Max versus Geek Vape Digi Pro Overview
If you are on the spot and like the looks of the Geek Vape Digi devices, keep in mind the Digi Max is the more powerful one with the bigger screen and the Digi Pro has less power and a smaller battery. The have the same form factor. They use the same family of coils and pods. The menus even work the same. The Digi Max is the more upscale device.
Geek Vape Digi Max Pros and Cons

Pros: The more powerful Geekvape Digi Max can operate at up to 80W yet can operate as a draw-activated vape or with button fire. It has adjustable wattage like a vape, a 3000mAh battery and sports some cool animations. You can plug in a higher-resistance coil and basically have a 5ml pod kit that competes with disposable vapes or a mod pod kit that throws clouds.
Cons: Does not come with a pod that can take advantage of its potential power and vapor production. Seems to hit harder and better with button fire versus draw-activation. Only JR Pod with swappable coil has 0.2ohm option.
Geek Vape Digi Pro Pros and Cons

Pros: Can fill any vapers needs with plenty of power but draw-activated versatility that can turn it into a Smok Novo or a Voopoo Drag competitor.
Cons: Gives up a lot of power to Digi Pro and not many pods to tap into the 40W of power.
Geekvape Digi Max versus Digi Pro Screen
The first impressions given by these powerful but easy to navigate vapes are provided by their screens. The do not look dissimilar but there are major differences.
Geekvape Digi Max Screen
The Geekvape Digi Max screen is much larger than the one on its sibling. It is a 2K resolution touch screen and measures 1.47" inches. The actual navigation menus of the two devices are similar and easy to use.
But the Digi Max has adjustable wattage. Note that if in Smart Mode, you will not be able to override the minimum or maximum wattage.
The RGB Flowing Light Strip on the side of the device can be dimmed or turned off. You can also adjust the animations. It is bolder and has more clarity the smaller Digi Pro and its RGB Pixel light strip.
Geekvape Digi Pro Screen
The Geekvape Digi Pro has a somewhat less elaborate RGB Pixel light strip on the side and a smaller screen. It is a press-button interactive rather than a pure touch screen but at 0.96" is still pretty impressive for a pod mod at this price point.
Within the menu, you can turn off or dim the animations. Some of these celestial themed patterns like Comet are quite involved vaping animations. Toggling between Smart, Boost, and Eco Mode is easy.
Geekvape Digi Pro versus Digi Max Performance
This is a pretty clear-cut competition on paper, as the Digi Max is a more powerful device. But it is closer than you might think due to the available pods and coils.
Geekvape Digi Max Performance
The Geekvape Digi Max has a 3000mAh battery versus the 2000mAh battery in the Digi Pro. It also charges a bit faster. It has adjustable wattage while the Digi Pro has three modes. Both have dual mode activation, which means they can be draw-activated and button fired.
Yet the actual vaping experience is much closer than you might think. At the time of writing, the lowest resistance and highest wattage coil option operates between 23-28W. That is well within the power band of the less powerful Digi Pro. The longer lasting battery may count for a lot but you will not be able to stretch out the legs of this 80W mod pod until they release the 0.3ohm coil, or really the 0.2ohm J-Coil for the JR pod. The latter is supposedly designed exclusively for the mighty Geekvape Digi Max.
Geekvape Digi Pro Performance
Until the new coils and pods appear, the main drawbacks of the less expensive Digi Pro are a slightly cheaper feel in hand, lower resolution screens, and a lack of adjustable wattage.
If you can live with a smaller battery and no 80W sub-ohm vaping, the Digi Pro is an absolutely perfect vape. It can do basically anything, and a collection of J-pods that operate in its sweet spot.
Vaping Experience: Geekvape Digi Max versus Geekvape Digi Pro
Ignore the screens and animations. Until the 0.2ohm coil drops, the main difference in physical vapor produced is going to be minimal between these devices. You have more control with the Digi Max but they will be pretty comparable.
The battery life is a pretty big difference though. With a 5ml pod, this is a fairly long lasting vape. The Digi Max has half again more longevity (3000mAh versus 2000mAh).
Then there is fit and finish. Independent of the fancier screens, the Digi Max just feels nicer. It also charges faster. Both devices have a locking mechanism on the bottom to prevent pocket activation.
Geekvape J-Cartridge Replacement Pods (2pcs/Pack)
The default for most users will be the Geekvape J Cartridge Pods 2pcs/pack. We love the built-in airflow control and positioning of the fill port means you don’t have to pull the pod to top it off. Both kits come with the 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm pods. The 0.6ohm actually is not that far removed from a current disposable vape, which typically are 1.0ohms but now run north of 25W while the 0.6ohm is recommended to operate between 16 and 21W. The more natural fit for nicotine salts are the 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm pods.
Even if you select the less powerful Digi Pro, the generous 5mLcapacity (2mL TPD-compliant) will be a nice upgrade if you are upgrading from a 2 or 3ml pod kit design with a 1000mAh battery.
That this time, the pods are available in a variety of resistances from 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω. These supports wattages between 8-28W, catering to diverse vaping styles. A 0.2ohm pod just for the Geekvape Digi Max is in the works, as is a 0.3ohm coil that will give both devices a bit more cloud chasing capability.
Geekvape JR Cartridge Replacement/Empty Pods/Coils (2pcs/Pack)
You can enjoy identical resistance performance in the Geekvape JR pods. The difference is that the coils are swappable and the pod is reused. This reduces waste. The JR Pod and J-Coils combine to form a pod with 5mL capacity, top airflow control, and the same 4Ω to 1.2Ω range that the standard J-Pods offer.
Final Thoughts
There is a strong case to be made for both devices. They are similar size and appearance. The Geekvape Digi Max is much more powerful, has a much larger battery, fancier animations, adjustable wattage and better ergonomics. The materials seem nicer at points of contact.
The Pro can match the Max stride for stride in the real world as they use the same pod family and none of the pods exceed the 40W maximum output of the Geekvape Digi Pro.
There is a premium to be paid for the fancier device but with the higher resistance coils installed, these pod mods can both function as an auto-draw pod kit that draws great flavor and satisfaction from nic salts. The Sonder Q or Sonder U might be nic salt specialists but they lack the features and potential power of both the Digi Max and Digi Pro.
If you have no plans to chase clouds, the Digi Pro is more than enough vape. But is it enough of an upgrade over the comparable Aegis Boost with a B-series coil to be worth making the switch? Possibly not, although the flavor was sharper. But both the Digi Pro and Digi Max have the potential to blow smaller pod kits out of the water as sophisticated disposable vape alternatives.
