The Nord 5 pod system is the latest iteration in the SMOK Nord series and comes with some great new safety features as well as the usual high performance we expect from the vaping giants.

With two finishes to choose from, a leather and regular series, you're guaranteed to find one which suits your style and comes in a similar form and size to the Nord 4, so you won't be squeezed for pocket space with the Nord 5 upgrade.

The Nord 5 isn't a million miles away from the Nord 4 with the same 2000mAh, integrated rechargeable battery and equivalent 5-80W power output, but comes in a new 'Dart' pattern and a range of more subtle, paired down leather finishes with a good range of both to choose from.

The SMOK Nord 5 pod has a 2ml capacity with a side refill system and is compatible with the RPM 3 SMOK coil series, coming with two sub-ohm coils included in the kit:

• 0.15ohm RPM 3 Meshed Coil
• 0.23ohm RPM 3 Meshed Coil

Both coils produce a direct-lung vaping experience producing larger clouds, designed for use with regular 10ml premixed vape juice and shortfill flavours, with or without a nic shot added.

A handy new feature of the SMOK Nord 5 is a coil locking system, so once you've plugged in your replacement coil, simply lock it into place with the red tab and avoid messy vape juice leaks.

Featuring an adjustable sliding airflow switch on the back of the device which opens and closes the airflow port on the side of the device, allowing you to control how loose or tight your draw is when taking a puff, so you can easily tailor it to your preferred style.

The 0.69" screen displays the Nord 5's battery life, wattage settings, coil resistance and puff counter. The adjustment buttons below the screen allow you to click up and down through the 5-80 watt power settings and the larger button on the front of the device is well placed for an intuitive press and drag motion to activate the system and vape.

With the range of safety features every modern device offers, you'll be protected from short circuit issues and overheating and elongated draw activation.

The usual USB-C cable comes as standard with the kit and the port can be found at the bottom of the device, so simply plug in to charge as you would your mobile phone.
