Temperature control is one of the most important technologies in vape mods. It allows you to set the exact temperature you wish the coil to run at, giving you a consistent and pure vaping experience.
The coil won't exceed the temperature setting and, as long as you've set it at a sensible level, you'll never experience "dry puff/burnt taste".
Here's how temperature control works: Some metals have a well-defined "temperature coefficient of resistance". In other words, as they get hotter the electrical resistance changes predictably. TC mods' microelectronics monitors the resistance of the coil many thousands of times per second and is able to calculate the temperature the coil has reached. The device then simply reduces or adds power to ensure that the coil stays at that temperature.
A number of different metals can be used for temperature control coil wire - the most common are Titanium, Stainless Steel and Nickel. Alloys such as Kanthal cannot be used as TC wire.
